Prayer and Liturgy
Children at St Margaret Ward are given many opportunities to experience and deepen their prayer life through a rich variety of prayer experiences.
Alongside traditional prayers, children participate in weekly Celebration of the Word, sharing prayers linked to the Liturgical Year, silent reflection, spontaneous prayer, listening to music and singing, helping them to develop a personal relationship with God. They are also encouraged to take an active role in planning and leading prayers and Celebration of the word.
Throughout the year, children participate in both whole-school and class Masses, providing valuable opportunities to celebrate their faith together. These liturgical celebrations are made even more special as families, parishioners and members of the wider community are invited to join us, strengthening the partnership between home, school and parish and enabling everyone to share in the richness of our Catholic life.
