Collective Worship

At St Margaret Ward, pupils have an opportunity to participate in Collective Worship daily. We pray together as a class, in groups, as a key stage and as a whole school.  Every child is given the opportunity to pray by giving praise and thanks to God.

Collective Worship provides an ideal opportunity to celebrate and acknowledge special occasions.  We do this by recognising Liturgical seasons throughout the year as well as events which are important to the local and national community.

Children contribute to the planning of Collective Worship and as they progress through the school, they lead that time of prayer for others.
